Ghassan Safadi
Ghassan Safadi is the managing director of Gazing Performance Systems Arabia. He is a management consultant with a proven track record of business expertise.
Ghassan started his professional career at Procter & Gamble Saudi Arabia as Senior Financial Analyst. In 1990, he moved to PepsiCo Beverages International where he pursued a 12 years career in a variety of sales, marketing and general management roles in Saudi Arabia, Africa and in PepsiCo's Headquarters in New York. His last position with PepsiCo was Global Marketing Director for the 7UP brand with total International retail sales of US$ 1.5 Bn.
In 2002, Ghassan joined AMS Baeshen & Co in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as their Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he worked on accelerating growth through re-energizing the company’s brands, upgrading the organization and its systems, expanding it presence regionally in the Middle East and creating new businesses such as the tea retail concept Teayana. In 2006 he joined Royal Numico/Group Danone as their Managing Director in Saudi to accelerate their baby food business before joining Gazing.
Ghassan’s specific areas of expertise are in Business Strategy, Marketing and Sales, new product development, retail concept development and organizational design. He is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Ghassan holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the American University of Beirut, and an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in the US.

Martin Fairn
Martin is the CEO of Gazing Performance International, and has embedded performance-based systems worldwide in the fields of business, education and sports.
The early part of Martin’s career was a highly successful one with more than 15 years experience to draw on in the fields of sales, Commercial Sales, Key Account Management, and Sales Management for Xerox in Central London. Following that Martin then took responsibility for ‘Quality and Customer Loyalty’ for the UK company, which included managing the industry leading ‘Xerox Business Excellence Programme’ based on the European Quality Award. Finally he moved to Canada, where he spent his last 3 years as General Manager for Xerox in Toronto.
Martin joined Gazing as Sales Director, since then he has been responsible for business development, and has delivered training ranging from basic sales training to senior management effectiveness and team building. Besides a highly successful career with a blue-chip organisation, he can also point to a lengthy career as a first class rugby player, in which he achieved international representation.
Dr Ceri Evans
MBChB, MSc, MA, DipForensicMH, MRCPsych, PhD
Dr. Ceri Evans is a human performance specialist and an internationally respected expert in the field of performance psychology. A Rhodes Scholar and a holder of the Gaskell Gold Medal, one of the highest distinctions in clinical psychiatry awarded by the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Ceri brings with him a wealth of expertise and a set of unique insights based on years of experience of human performance in different pressure situations.
Ceri is co-founder and director of Gazing Performance International. He has used his academic and sports background to develop and deliver high performance systems for individuals, teams and organizations in the fields of business, education and sports in over 100 countries across 6 continents. His clients have included blue chip multi-national business organisations, CEOs, elite athletics and sports teams.
He has published multiple chapters and peer-reviewed articles in international psychiatric journals. He has also conducted numerous seminars for senior business teams and acts as mentor to individual leaders. He is currently Clinical Director of the Canterbury Regional Forensic Psychiatric Service.
Renzie Hanham
Renzie Hanham works closely with Dr Ceri Evans in Gazing product development. Renzie’s finally honed skills, developed over 25 years of operating his own graphic design business, give Gazing its distinctive visual edge. Renzie’s design skills were recognised in the form of an invitation to join the judging panel of the New York Art Director’s Club International Design Awards. Renzie brings a wealth of experience in the field of sports psychology to Gazing. He is a 7th degree Black Belt and is head instructor for Seido Karate in New Zealand. Renzie was employed as mental conditioning coach for the New Zealand Triathlon Academy and was at the Sydney Olympics with the NZ triathlon team.
John Esposito
John initiated the development of Gazing following a 10-year career working for a ‘blue chip’ multi-national corporation. John has conducted successful performance development programmes in more than twenty countries, including presentations by interpreter. He has an outstanding international reputation as coach and facilitator. John has also achieved high standards as a sportsman. He holds a fourth degree black belt in karate, has competed at national level and was responsible for establishing a karate school in London.
