Gazing was initially set up in the UK in 1998 as a company that focused on delivering sales and sales management programmes. From the outset, we had a distinctive approach, reflecting the very different perspectives and professional backgrounds of our founding directors - who brought to Gazing experience in fields as diverse as forensic psychiatry and international sport.
In 2002-2003 Gazing expanded internationally through a network of carefully selected partners and shifted its focus to developing and delivering systems to optimise performance under pressure.
Our offerings currently cover key business functions that range from developing leadership through to management programmes and customer service excellence.
Additionally, over the last few years, a further natural progression for Gazing internationally has been to apply our expertise in performance under pressure to the very different challenges faced by top athletes and teachers.
Gazing Arabia
Gazing Arabia was established in 2007 to make use of local expertise and cater for the growing needs for professional development in light of the growth the GCC region is experiencing.
The GCC is undergoing unprecedented change, with businesses in the region still delivering phenomenal growth and attractive bottom lines. Pressures in the region are growing however, with the challenges of competition, inflation and the pursuit of talent at the forefront.

Gazing worldwide
Gazing Performance is a truly international business that works with clients worldwide to deliver sustainable improvements in performance. We make our expertise in performance under pressure available to our clients worldwide through a network of international partners. Gazing Arabia currently covers the GCC region.
We have 12 partners worldwide, all formally licensed and fully accredited to deliver our core programmes, to a consistent and rigorously monitored standard. Each partner takes full responsibility of delivering programmes and implementing follow up support within their regions. Local expertise is therefore paramount to adapt the programmes, as appropriate, to reflect local needs.
So far, Gazing programmes have been delivered in 13 languages and in over 60 countries.
Our vibrant and growing global network isn't just an efficient means of extending our geographical reach; it's a mutually beneficial community, within which regular communications enables us to share ideas, compare case studies, and continue to raise our game.

Our name derives from the Gazing Principle, propounded by the Japanese swordsman and philosopher Musashi.
His legendary prowess, which enabled him to come unscathed through countless duels with other Samurai, was based on a "double gaze": one eye on the immediate situation (the opponent trying to kill him) and the other on the bigger picture (the state of play on the wider battle-field).
The key to success, as Musashi demonstrated, is the ability to switch constantly between the two: no point focusing on details of execution if you haven't got a clear sense of overall strategy - and vice versa
